Michael,
#Do I configure the default route for inside interfaces to point to my
Local Director or to the internal address of the #servers.
The definition of a default route is a route that covers everything you
don't have an explicit routing statement for. There are a LOT more routes
on the Internet side of your firewall than on the internal side of your
firewall. Your Cisco PIX default route should point to the router between
the PIX and the Internet and then you should define static routes for your
internal network on your PIX. Or you could run RIP, OSPF, ect. on your PIX
but this can be a bad thing on a firewall. If you point your default route
to your websevers or your LocalDirector you will probably cause a routing
loop for all traffic from or to the Internet since your web servers and
LocalDirector probably have a default route pointing to your PIX.
