Actually it is a very simple issue, but most personal firewalls are not
designed to report to a cental console based on the fact that the products
are targeted to the home market. As some organizations especially SOHO
where they really don't accept the pricing structure to well of Enterprise
based firewalls, a personal firewall with intrinsic IDS sounds very attractive.
Gone are the days when one can purchase a 20 user license pack and be ok
for about 2 years.
So no one really answered my first question:
Why is Zone Alarm Pro or Zone Alarm preferred over other personal firewalls
and IDS products??
