Hi,
I am facing problems with VPN and an application I
am running on that(Perforce-a version control software).
I am using VPNremote client from VPNet (ver
3.0).
On 3 machines(NT server 4.0 & workstations
),I am able to connect to the remote end and view &
transfer files using Perforce.
But on few other machines,I can connect to the
remote end through VPNRemote client(I am saying this because I am able to ping
the remote IP),but I am not able to use Perforce -it just dosent show the remote
file server.
I dont feel its a problem with my network
configuraton,as I am able to ping the remote IP,on all systems, after connecting
through VPN.
Also,I even tried to connect Perforce by
interchanging the VPN usernames(logins) assigned -ie I interchanged the
VPN login on the system which was not connecting with the login on the
system which was connecting-the VPN still worked but Perforce
didnt.
so,stubbornly only 3 particular systems connect
through Perforce -and others dont.
(The perforce login is same for all
systems...)
Also,the same Perforce which dosent connect through
the VPNRemote -connects if I use ssh (secure shell for Win NT)
Can anyone help me out with this?
