Nice to hear ... I was afraid that someone could get such ideas! Anyhow,
such thoughts should not be related to us!
If not obvious, the matter is to define the default network library as being
TCP/IP on port 1433, not Named Pipe although the TCP/IP can bear SMB:s. I
hope that Bill can accept this solution to manage his SQL server!
