I have recently been charged with maintaining a PIX firewall at a large enterprise network. When I was initially auditing the configs I noticed that Floodguard was disabled. Being the inquisitive type I went to Cisco's site to find the following reference, http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_v51/config/com mands.htm#xtocid2254129 I understand what this command does and that it is enabled by default. When I confronted them about this I was asked to provide more documentation. I would ask that anyone who has experience with this command email me with your experiences privately, be they good or bad. I will summarize and post my findings to the list, thank you.
