For a free vulnerability scanner, try nessus (www.nessus.org) - probably the
best free security scanner around (and possibly the best altogether).
If you don't want to go through the hassle of installing the tool on a
dedicated machine, try our automated scanning service. There's a free

it will scan you for the very latest security holes and vulnerabilities:

Note that our service does not scan dial-up or home users. If you do not
