I just recalled, STAT was developed for the armed forces by Harris Electronic
Systems. (Though it's only for NT/2000.) It currently detects over 900
vulnerabilities. (Growing every two weeks or so.)
Though not a firewall it is a very good tool to close down your OS tight. All
which is part of any firewall project anyway.
