Kathleen, thanks for your interest. I have found that the problem is only with
the win X machines, and no with Unix machines.
For
the windows machines it does not drop any packet, so I'm sure is a windows
limitation.

Can you post the report for sessions that the LMF generates for the block of time where you attempt the traceroute (and anonymize the data for your protection).
I just read the digest form of the mailing list, but will take a look. I tested the LMF a couple of years ago and thought it was a great stateful firewall.
