Do you mean to NETSTAT monitor at www.lockdown2000.com or is it the unix
netstat -l (for listen) you are talking about ? in this case, type
`lsof|grep LISTEN` for a watch and then, place the inodes in ro :) just a joke.
netstat is used by another sockets in your machine. Close the ports they are
not necessary to be listened.
