I'm guessing that you're asking about the syslog capabilities? That port is 
the default TCP port for use with a syslog server. There's nothing special 
about the protocol - it just connects to that port and send lines of log 
information. Set up a syslog server on that port and get the PIX to log to that 
host and you'll see the data - look in the manual for the PIX to see the list of 
possible log entries.
