Most (all) modern operating Systems set the Don't fragment Bit for TCP
ALways, this is used for MTU Path discovery. and if you have probems with
it, hat might most likely be due to ICMP Blocking in your Firewall or a
upstream ISP using unrouteable Addresses for transit Networks.
