what do you mean?
if you're asking which should be blocked and which should be passed, then
that's
unfortunately simpler to say than to tell:)
* for ICMP requests/responses such as echo, echo reply, ...
the decision depends on the configuration...
* for ICMP errors, you might need to have a stateful mechanism, so as to
determine whether it's a real error or a faked packet.
some sites wanna traceroute, others say no traceroute for dumb users,
...
in C++? it's the first time I see C++ used in such things (I have no opinion
on that though. everybody has a preferred language).
For which OS do you intend it?
