Hi,

Do you have a particular distribution in mind?

There are quite a few things around. There are:
1. secured distributions (some based on RedHat)
2. kernel patches by various groups
3. security-enhancing scripts

1.
trustix
immunix
NSA secure linux

2.
eg, openwall project

3.
bastille

Also, Paul Robertson pointed out on the list recently the existence of
RSBAC, www.rsbac.de, which is open source.

You could also look at Mourani's book on securing/optimising RedHat (RH
6.1/6.22). It's open source and available on the net. Try http://www.openna.com
