I am Archana. I am writing a course to develop a CBT on Firewalls. I am unable to find any information on the types of Proxy servers available. I have a few white papers on Web proxy, application-level gateway, and circuit-level gateway but they are not sufficient.
Can anyone pls help me find out some more information on the three types of proxy servers.
What are the points of distinction between them based on the business situations in which they are used.
For example: the characteristics of the proxy servers - in terms of their speed of performance, degree of security and complexity, cost of implementation and the type of network, resources available, specific needs of the company, etc.
I'll be really very thankful for any kind of suggestions.
