Cisco ACS provides both RADIUS and TACACS+ for Cisco and other vendors
hardware (IETF), follow this link for more info,
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/sqsw/sq/ (Watch rap) The web
interface is quite useable, and it integrates well with NT domains, keys off
Grant Dial in Permissions. Allows the most finite granularity in terms of
access control.

Subject: TACACS+ Setup and question

I need to setup all the Cisco devices on a customers network to utilize
TACACS+ for username, password, and privilege level authentication.

I call Cisco and I can't get a straight answer as to what Cisco product
incorporates the TACACS+ sever. So to my questions:

1. What Cisco product do I need to purchase in order to be able to utilize
the functionality of TACACS+?

2. Does anyone have any templates for setting up the TACACS+ services for
username, password, and privilege level authentication? I dug through the
Cisco TAC site and the configuration files they have pertain using it with
dial-in authentication for RAS scenarios.

Thanks
