Hi all,
Just thought i would check in to see if anyone has had any of these strange
scans.....
I have had numerous scans on my firewall that are from 10.10.10.1 ( private
ip class coming from outside the network ) that are nailing port 511. Now i
have looked on google for port 511, and really havent been able to come up
with why they would be hitting port 511. I am running redhat 6.2 with
2.2.16 w/ ipchains.
Thanks guys, and gals... as always your replys are always interesting and i
have to commend you all for i would have not received alot of what i know
now, if i hadnt subscribed to this list. Kudos to all of you,
