Hang on,
SecurID doesn't encrypt files!!
Keon Desktop does!
When RSA bought Dynasoft for the BoKS product (about 3 years ago) they
touted that to improve performance of the encryption of notes you should
diable internal encryption (v1) and make use of Keon (v1.5 at the time) with
the up to date BSafe toolkit bits in it.

Remember that Notes uses a RSA based public/private key system for remote
access. The private key is in your Notes .id file and is normally unlocked
with a password like PGP and SSH. What you really need is a better method of
protecting the .id file since there is no real need to add SecureID
protection to the actual session key exchange of the Notes logon. Why not
use the SecureID solution for Windows 2000 encrypted file systems to protect
the credentials (user.id file).

SecurID supports Lotus Domino Server, which is web-based Groupware solution.
However, it does not support traditional OA application based on Notes
client/server model. I wonder if anyone has solution for that.
Thanks!
