Velociraptor is a repackaging of the Symantec(Axent) Raptor firewall on a Cobalt Linux box. I have a lot of experience of the main Raptor system but nobody has much velociraptor experience since it is < 6 months. old.  One common problem on the big Raptor box is mis-labelling the network interfaces so that the Internet side is called internal.
