Hi!

This is not strictly a firewall question, but you'd probably be
able to help me anyway. :)

I have to decide between postgresql and mysql for a project, and I
have absolutely no experience with any of those two.

From a security point of view, which is best of the two? ie: which
one is the most security audited/more vulnerability free/security
features.

Of course I'll have to develop the db in a "secure" fashion, by
that's left to me. :)

Also, how do you communicate to these databases? sqlnet? Some kind
of propietary protocol on clear-text? odbc only? Any insights would be
greatly appreciated. The application would probably be php.

        Also, stability/performance/features (rollback, replication, full
text index, etc)/etc issues are of my interest if you happen to know about
them.

Thanks a lot for your help!
