Hello- I am running Checkpoint Firewall-1 4.0b SP2 on a Win NT 4.0 SP6a box. The box is in a separate domain, with no extra services installed. The firewall provides the security and all the routing for our internal domain. For some reason the machine/software/something keeps getting locked up or confused. What I mean is that all of a sudden local machines cannot access the internet (the firewall is the gateway), and outside clients cannot access our web or email servers. This happens at seemingly random times. It was happening only 1 a week, but this week it has happened 2 times already. I check the firewall logs, and nothing stands out as an attack. The Event Viewer shows nothing out of the ordinary. The firewall computer is not locked up, I can still logon and run applications, but the routing does not work. It seems like it gets its routing tables confused, and a reboot is the only thing that will fix it. Any ideas??? - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
