Does anyone have experience connecting Gigabit networks with jumbo-frames to networks with 1500 MTU? Do Layer 3 devices typically frag those into manageable frame sizes for 100mb Ethernet? Is 802.1q the ONLY way to make networks communicate? Specifically, anyone done this successfully with Zynx cards and IPCHAINS? If a tree falls in a forest.....? Ok, I'll stop. Thank you in advance.
