Title: cable/dsl router question

OK I'm new to this list so be gentile.  I have a cable modem and am considering switching to DSL.  I have a Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL router (BEFSR81) but the firewall on it essentially only does port inspections/blocking and NAT.

I was hoping someone could turn me on to an inexpensive firewall appliance (I really don't have the room to put up another PC, monitor, etc. right now) with a very good firewall that includes Stateful Packet Inspection and limited VPN preferably.  Preferably ICSA Labs certified.

Because I already have the Linksys, it only needs 2 ethernet ports, one to the modem, one to the Linksys at 10MB.  It doesn't have to do DHCP or anything real fancy from the network end.  I essentially just need a good firewall.

Thanks for any input,

Brian Oppermann
