Hello, a few years ago, I did install some FW-1 3.0 boxes and I was a bit disappointed to see, that the GUI (fwui, motiv, solaris) wasn't able to determine which rule belongs to which interface on the box. [I build a few scripts which can handle this because this semantic is well known to the fw rule compiler] However. This was 3.0 - now a few new versions have been published. I wonder if it is nowadays possible to config a destination interface for each rule in the rule window of the Checkpoint GUI. I need this eloqeuence because of the network structure the firewall is planned. Eagerly awaiting the answers, Jochen Kaiser -- Jochen Kaiser kind@IRCNET, phone +49 9131 85-28134 Network Administration mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Regionales Rechenzentrum Universitaet Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany GPG public key: http://www.uni-erlangen.de/~unrza2/public_key.txt - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
