To do it quick and dirty...

Just backup the $FWDIR/conf dir on your Firewall-1 box..

in this directory resides all your files (rulebases, objects)
which Firewall-1 uses. And you can use it on an other
(new) system too.

Otherwise you can backup each file in that directory 
seperately (rulebases.fws, Object.C, etc, etc).
