A dword is a 32 bit integer.
Consider the ip address as octets: 192.168.1.1

This is decimal: 192*256*256*256+168*256*256+1*256+1
Another way:
Convert everthing to binary:
11000000.10101000.00000001.0000001
Concat the octets and convert the binary to decimal.
