good evening. I have a linux box that I do some work on, and I am interested in finding out what these port status's mean from a netstat -a command. I have cut and paste the relevant lines below. Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State raw 0 0 *:icmp *:* 7 raw 0 0 *:tcp *:* 7 Active UNIX domain sockets (servers and established) Proto RefCnt Flags Type State I-Node Path unix 0 [ ] STREAM CONNECTED 132 @00000016 Can anyone tell me more info on these, or direct me to a location which will help me understand what is happening? This box has had bastille run on it to help close down ports. I have not been able to see from an lsof what these connections are being initiated from.
