honestly? a couple of decent PCs running OpenBSD (2.9 preferred, shipping
on June 1, 2001), using IPSec. its really an awesome solution, perfectly
standards compliant, integrates with other IPSec solutions (ie FW-1) and
is very low cost -- free (cept for the hardware and any labor).

been using OpenBSD since about 2.4, and i love it. it's a fantastic
product, and a great network infrastructure component.
