You could use the NT option pack for NT 4.0.  The smtp service in it can be
configured to do what you need.


You do not mention what mail program the "smtp" gateway is running.  However
another scenario to consider:

Set up the following:

W2k box running Exchange 2000 --------------
 Firewall --------------------------------------  Internal Exchange 2000


The external box would run in its own nt domain and would not be part of the
actual internal Forest of domains.  This is to prevent having any actual
real business accounts showing up on the exposed box.
