Some times I use the software from Webtrends, that runs on Solaris, WinNT and Linux, and gives an explain how to resolve it.
I also prefeer to uso more than one.

A pretty good free one is nessus. www.nessus.org for more information. It
tries hundreds of vulnerabilities. The engine runs under Linux, but you
can manage the scans from any unix or windows platform.
