I'm currently testing snmp traps and system failure notification on a Nokia IP650. It seems that there is no snmp trap for a fan fault event...why ? The fan fault is logged into syslog and so I thoughed to write a small script that scans the syslog file for a fan fault event and then generates a snmp trap. ...or did I miss something and there is a another way? anyone ever had this problem ?
