take a look at bind, named, /etc/hosts, /etc/nsswitch.conf, /etc/named.conf,
/var/named/named.local, /var/named/name.ca, /var/named/zone/0.0.127-in-arpa, a
gateway in ifconfig and so ... or like as your x-mailer, use c:\windows\hosts
look like as c:\windows\hosts.sam witch is a sample.
