Unfortunately, this has been a problem with the way that H323 protocols are written. Using NAT with them is somewhat of a pain in the neck.
I am in the process of setting up my network @ home to allow me to use NetMeeting with clients in the office, and out in the field. Luckily it is not of major importance, or I would have been without a job already. :) but the ability to use the Desktop Sharing is a help at times.
So far, I have found only one way to use H323 is with a gateway/gatekeeper. And those are few and far between.
