It means the router had a hardware glitch.
Could have been caused by excessive heat, surge, static, or even
an IOS bug in the release you are running. You should consider taking
the info and checking against the "Cisco Bug Navigator" to determine if
you need to rev the IOS image on the router.

Hi everybody:
I am not a cisco expert so I would like to get some clues to what
could have caused the following action :
A cisco router 2511 suddenly rebooted itself ( without me doing it of
course) and it showed the following message :
"System restarted by bus error at PC 0x30C5BD4, address 0xE24230"
What does bus error mean ? I would deeply appreciate any light regarding
this matter.
