Hi,
Where I should write a
mail to ask a quastion about a problem I have with a Firewall-1 and Floodgate
software?
Here is the problem.We
have a Firewall-1 with a DMZ zone and the feature Floodgate-1 installed and
working. We don't use a NAT for the DMZ zone so the interface of the
Firewall for the DMZ zone has a public IP.The license installed is for
Firewall-1 ,VPN, Floodgate-1 (4.1) and for 250 users :
Expiration Date: never Host ID: xxx.yyy.zzz.www Features: cpvp-vig-250-des-v41 cptc-fgm-250-v41 CK-DC2C6B92E4A1 When I installed the Floodgate-1 feature it worked just fine but the NT 4.0 event viewer and the Checkpoint log viewer log message continuously for the IP of the DMZ interface of the Firewall-1 like:Log Viewer
:
6June 2001 10:00:57
daemon xxx.yyy.zzz.www
(DMZ IP) alert VPN-1 & Firewall
module License Violation
Detected
Event Viewer
:
6/6/2001 10:07:50
ETMDRV
ETMDRV: FG-1: License
violation detected
The external.if file
has the correct public IP (Host ID of the License).Further info is that the log
viewer logs message every time a user ask for an Internet access from his
computer.
What should I check or
do? Please provide me some informations about this problem if you
can.
Thanks and
Regards,
