Just because all ports on a switch are on the same VLAN it doesn't mean that
the switch is acting like a hub. It means that traffic is permitted to be
routed to any port as they are all part of the same LAN. The switch should
still try to route depending on the MAC address of sender and receiver. If
you are getting all the busy ports lighting together it suggests that the
traffic is broadcast or that the MAC address table does not contain the
entries.
