Thanks to all who have replied to my previous question. I have another
little question.

I apologize if this sounds confusing, I am trying to understand the whole
DMZ
technology. My questions concerns putting Exchange Server
in a DMZ. I understand that I can put a windows 2000
server on my DMZ as a SMTP mail relay. This way my
exchange server on my internal LAN can communicate to my
DMZ. However, I don't want my DMZ communicating back into
my LAN. Is there way with Exchange to have an internet
mail service communicate with it without going through my
DMZ. Please advise.

Thanks, Chris Stewart
