and if you know you gonna use the product anyway... its good to be a beta
testor ..  might even get the real thing for free or significant discount
for doing the beta testing ... ( real == provide detailed/important
feedback )
        - beta testing is also good for those that are willing to tweek it
        to get it working...to get around the problem found...

        - otherwise..beta testing can be a nightmare...

the company should NOT charge you for beta products... its in both parties
interest to get as many beta testing done as possible prior to the
official release
