Hi, when I was giving FW-1 classes some years ago, the institution gave out the FW-1 book of M. Goncalves [they were used to give out books... and it was the only book on the subject at the time]. Neither me nor the students ever learned anything from the (FW-1) book. As there is not one phrase originally written by Mr. Goncalves (perhaps the foreword?), it's just an (expensive) copy of some old Check Point manuals. As of the book you are asking for, I just cite one of the reviews on amazon.com: "I do not recommend this book, at all. When reading it, you get the impression that the author spent a week or two researching the subject, and then went on to write this book to make some quick cash. It is full of errors and ambiguities. What's worse, in the section on cryptography, the author has shamelessly copied text from Bruce Schneier's "Applied Cryptography". Save your money." That's it. Save your money. Do not buy one of the books of M. Goncalves. Waste of money & waste of paper. Enno Rey My best wishes and my condolence to America.
