i joined this group out of mere curiosity and interest in firewalls
though i could not understand most of the mails and the terminology in it.
seems the group is a highly intelligent and knowledgable fratternity.
i have a basic doubt. what's the difference between Hardware firewall
and softwre firewall? why there are two? any advantages(or disadvantages)?
i was told that we have Hardware firewall in our office. Its observed that
the net speed has drastically come down after installing it. what could be
the reason?
