Frank,

if you REALLY and I mean REALLY need to run a firewall on a
windows platform I would try it on windows 2000. Although it's
a bigger OS, more code, more potential (or already) security
holes, it's (in my opinion) a lot more stable then good old NT.

Windows 2000 have also and can also have a lot more support
for hardware / software in the near future...

And M$ stops supporting NT in building service packs and all 
that stuff...

Just my thoughts,
