You may need to specify the type of activity that your remote users will be
doing. If they intend to run normal applications remotely, bandwidth issues may
force you into a Citix Metaframe type of solution. This type of thin-client is
really they only way to get decent internal access via low bandwidth connection.
If they are only using client-server or web based apps, or if they only need
access to internal file systems for editing/viewing documents, you may be able
to get by with a VPN to/through a firewall & remote Netware logins (IP, not IPX).

Other thoughts:
Metaframe is not easy to adminster.

Metaframe has client software for a dozen or so platforms. (I use the Solaris
client all day evey day.)

Novell makes a firewall with VPN capablities. If you have alot of Netware
experience, it may not be a bad way to go.
