It appears the problem here is with political policy, not with firewall policies. I would suggest asking the firewall admin for permission to access the information you need to do your job. Now if it isn't job related then you are up a creek. If it is job related, then you should have no problem getting access to it. Especially if you can get managerial support.

I used to use safeweb to encapsulate the download data. Now safeweb is also unreachable internally. At this time, I am thinking if I can wrap the download data in uuencode ASCII file and pass the proxy without being noticed. Is there a browser supporting this? (External proxy is not an option) Appreciate all suggestions & I will summarize. Zhu BTW, I am not a malicious employee, I just hate the restrictions and untrusted. _______________________________________________________ Build your own website in minutes and for free at http://ca.geocities.com _______________________________________________ Firewalls mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnac.net/mailman/listinfo/firewalls _______________________________________________ Firewalls mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnac.net/mailman/listinfo/firewalls
