It appears the problem here is with political policy, not with firewall
policies.  I would suggest asking the firewall admin for permission to
access the information you need to do your job.  Now if it isn't job
related then you are up a creek.  If it is job related, then you should
have no problem getting access to it.  Especially if you can get
managerial support.

Hello all,

Since our company is using proxy to control the web
access, we can't download any binary files(even
documentation) from internet.

I used to use safeweb to encapsulate the download
data. Now safeweb is also unreachable internally.

At this time, I am thinking if I can wrap the download
data in uuencode ASCII file and pass the proxy without
being noticed. Is there a browser supporting this?
(External proxy is not an option)
