I have just discovered the "pathping" command in Windows 2000. Looks
interesting. But it wont work through our Raptor firewall. I believe it
is due to the fact that the Raptor cause a "hick-up" in the normal
traceroute scenario (dummy addresses used):

C:\>tracert somewhere

Tracing to somewhere [1.2.3.4]

  1 10 ms <10 ms <10 ms 192.168.100.1 <-- inside interface
  2 * * * Request timeout.
  3 <10 ms <10 ms <10 ms 10.0.0.1 <----------- outside interface
  4 <10 ms <10 ms 10 ms 10.10.10.1
  5 <10 ms <10 ms 10 ms 1.2.3.4

Trace complete

I guess the problem is that the Raptor doesn't send a reply for its
internal interface, and without that reply pathping will stop there.

Does anyone know how to make traceroute work for the Raptor internally?
