There aren't any reason not to upgrade to newest version. If I recall 515
doesn't need (and is not possible to) any memory upgrades for upgrade but
you should check this.

There shouldn't be problems with the old configuration but it depends what
you have in it. There are some glitches of compatibility so reading release
notes is mandatory.

You can also mess up your security policy by using both the old
conduit/outbound configuration and new access lists so I would recommend to
change those old rules to access-lists.
