I bought a small WatchGuard SOHO and tried to open up a site through it on my DSL line. Unfortunately I found that getting 2800 hits a day would kill it. WatchGuard said it was because the connections were never released and once it hit 1024 it wouldn't take anymore. I just needed some simple NAT and port blocking so that I wouldn't have to lock down everything on my web server.
Anyways... Do you guys have any suggestions for what I could get to replace this? Would a Cisco 1600 series router work for what I need? I tried reading up on the the Cisco site but I thought the WatchGuard was working fine initially too. Any help is much appreciated. --- Scott Merritt [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Firewalls mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnac.net/mailman/listinfo/firewalls
