I do not have one of these machines, but sometimes, gut instinct whaps me up side the head and says 'Think' (from my old IBM days!). This instinct tells me that the unit seems to be re-booting itself, or at least may be going through some internal buffer flush of some kind. Why not just contact the manufacturer and see if you can speak to a tech?
