Greetings,

I have a friend with cable internet access, and he is looking for a
reasonably priced hardware router/firewall to do packet filtering (maybe
stateful) and NAT. I set him up with an OpenBSD box running ipf, but he
doesn't want to deal with unix, and I don't want to be his support guy for
the rest of my life. Can anyone recommend a hardware solution with features
similar to what you get from ipf? I have been looking around and have seen
a lot of so-called "natural firewalls" that seem to do little more than
NAT, claiming to be secure. Does anyone have any experience with these
sub-$100 products?

Thanks.
