If you use outlook 2k, click on the message, so it appears in it's own
window. Then go to view->options->internet options

Look at the received headers, in reverse order. For example in this
particular message's case. Look at the hosts that it hit, and their
timestamps. By doing that you can see which host received it, and at what
time. By doing that you can see where the delay is. Remember SMTP is not an
instant messaging technology, a delay of up to a week is undesirable, but
certainly not uncommon.

Some sites, especially in 3rd world nations, may still be on UUCP, so expect
delays when sending/recieving email to those sites.
