Hi Fran,

I'd setup IAS as a RADIUS server for use with PIX Firewall authentication
few days ago and I get some problems with default setup of IAS. My problem
was that PIX sends unencrypted passwords and the IAS' default settings sets
CHAP/MS-CHAP as authentication protocol.

The only way I got the authentication working was set the authentication
protocol of IAS to PAP while I'm researching how to solve this problem.

Take a look on W2K System log for IAS entries (either warning or errors) and
verify which auth protocol is in use.

Best Regards,
