Those that "check before making a statement" and actually hit the page in
question might discover on the bottom of the page the section:
To change your subscription (set options like digest and delivery
modes, get a reminder of your password, or
unsubscribe from Firewalls), enter your subscription email
address:
Followed by the entry box and a nice sized "edit options" button.
And of course, there's a bi or tri monthly emial the list sends to it's
subscriber audience titled:
Subject: lists.gnac.net mailing list memberships reminder
I'll be happy to bounce a copy of this to those that just have taken up
the practice of deleting it as it enters their mailbox. <upon request>
It actually lists information most folks seem to delete after discovering
the majik behind list subscription. All these spoons feeding this
information are fairly new, at least to some of the list mebers that have
been on the list since the early 1990's when the list was still run on
majordomo, prior to mailman and the web interface. It's interesting that
web surfing has to be considered and advanced skill these days.
Thanks,

OK, so you're a Ph.D. Just don't touch anything.
